To address the psycho-emotional issues of the rural women MIRROR initiated a 24 hour helpline services for women and girl children with the support o Ministry of Women and Child Development Govt. of India in 2006. There are three trained and experienced counselors to provide free counseling services to the needy. Apart from the direct and telephonic counseling services our counselors use to visit the houses of the regulars and provide emotional support to the family members SERVICE PROVIDER UNDER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT:

To extent services to the women who are the victims of domestic violence in the intervention area of MIRROR, Kerala State Social Welfare Board selected the organization as Service Provider under Domestic Violence Act 2005. The centre provides free legal aid and counseling. The service of a practicing lady legal counselor is available in the centre thrice in a week. The facilitation team provides classes on the Act to a number of Self Help Groups and Community Based Organizations. Constituted a Subcommittee consisting representatives from Panchayaht Raj Institutions, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Taluk Legal Services Authority, Community Development Society, Non Governmental Organizations and Jagratha Samithy under the Convener ship of Station Officer, Sulthan Bathery Police Station.
